Biography

Rob Galbreath grew up in Lancaster, NY, 45 minutes away from the Peace Bridge to the Canadian border. He graduated from St. Bonaventure University in December of 2005 with degrees in journalism, mass communication and English literature. During his years at college, Rob received 6 academic awards in journalism professionalism and numerous leadership awards.

Rob’s leadership programs included the black student union, international students association, the gay and lesbian support group, several social activism groups and event coordination. Rob also had experience in four Web sites, video documentary work, broadcast radio and three news publications. Rob recently worked as the editor-in-chief of The Wiire, and a freelance reporter for a local publication.

Prior to The Wiire, formerly Revolution Report, Rob submitted video game reviews to www.videogamereview.com, winning 3 consecutive contests. Due to these wins, the site created a limit of wins per person.

Calculating market prices today, Rob owns $8,000 worth of games and consoles. Rob’s favorite console is the Sega Dreamcast for its innovative, experimental approaches in microphone, visual memory units, keyboard and online capabilities during the turn of the millenium.
